Royal Air Force: No Ordinary Job

The Royal Air Force has a constant drive for recruitment, so WCRS created No Ordinary Job, a campaign highlighting the lifestyle benefits of a career with them. As part of this I designed the responsive experience online.

Stories and videos of serving RAF personnel are held in a content hub that serves as a long-term platform for future campaigns.

Mobile first

Designed in a mobile-first environment, it’s treated in a similar way to how the target users see Instagram and other social feeds. Over 50% of expected traffic on the RAF website is mobile so this was a necessary way of thinking for the 16-24 year olds targetted by apprenticeships.

Design elements

As well as the general UI, I flowed the titling into the videos which launched the campaign and created the logo lockups as part of a larger branding exercise.
