We’ve had the pleasure of working with a great charity called FirmFoundation over the past two months. They are a charity run through King’s Church Harrow, a continuing client whose website we designed in April.
With FirmFoundation, we were given a fairly blank canvas except that the logo had to stay. However, it was decided (after sending a quick version) that a ‘tweaked’ logo would make creating the website so much easier. A new typeface (Gill Sans for those interested), re-drawing certain elements and a slight colour change made a huge difference as you’ll see below.

The direction taken with the website is the idea of rebuilding a new life after homelessness, which is what the charity is all about. The background needed colour though and a more red brick was suited to the new logo, and then the content was to be placed on what looks like a poster peeling off the wall.
This website was really enjoyable to work on so if you want to see the results, go to: www.firmfoundation.org.uk
